Configure Your LLM(s)
Next you need to configure at least one LLM (Large Language Model) to use with CodeCleaner AI.
Get An API Key:
You need to get an API key for the LLM you want to use. Follow the instructions in the respective documentation for each LLM to obtain your API key.
For more details see the Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) section of this documentation.
You can use the following LLMs with CodeCleaner AI:
- Google Gemini (it has a free option).
- Anthropic Claude.
- OpenAI.
Google Gemini offers a free tier that allows you to use some of their models without any additional cost. This is a great way to start using CodeCleaner AI without spending any money.

Update Your Profile:
You can configure your LLMs in your Profile page.
- Click on the Setup button next to your LLM Provider of choice.
- Enter you API Key and select your default LLM model.
- See How to get an API Key for the LLMs we support.
- Optionally you can select the LLM Model you want to use as default.
- Click on the Save button to save your changes.
- Test that everything is working by clicking on the Test button.
- If the test is successful, you will see a success message and a haiku that the LLM generated for you.
